About this journey
What the drive is actually like
This is the long one — around 460 km and just under five hours. It is also the route where the Miqat stop matters most: Abyar Ali (Masjid Dhul Hulayfah) is only 12 km from the airport road, and every pilgrim heading to Makkah from Madinah must enter ihram there.
We build that stop into the fare. The driver pulls in, you take your time for ghusl, changing and two rak'ahs, and he waits. Thirty to forty-five minutes is normal and nobody will rush you.
After Miqat it is a straight run south with one rest stop. You arrive in Makkah in ihram, ready to head for tawaf.
