Masjid Quba

Before you book a Ziyarat tour
A few things worth knowing, especially if you are travelling with older parents or young children.
Not for these tours. Your driver knows every site and will explain the significance of each in English, Arabic or Urdu. If you want a formally licensed academic guide alongside the car, we can arrange one for an additional fee — tell us when you book.
Yes. The circuits listed here are what most people ask for, but the car is yours for the duration. Skip anything, add anything, spend an hour where you expected to spend ten minutes.
Early morning, straight after Fajr, is the best of both worlds — cool, quiet, and beautiful light. Late afternoon is the second choice. Midday in summer is genuinely uncomfortable at the outdoor sites.
The Madinah circuit, very much so — flat, short walks, and you can stay in the car at any stop. The Makkah circuit involves more standing and uneven ground at some sites, though nothing has to be climbed.
The sites on these tours are free to enter. The only paid extra is the Al Hada cable car on the Taif tour, which you buy at the gate.
